We received Dave's business postcard all the way in Japan when we were stationed there. We usually don't respond to business advertisements, but for some reason, we took a chance and called Dave. We explained our situation to him, noting our concerns being miles away from our condo in San Diego. Dave was instrumental in our process to purchase a new home for our family. In a sellers market, with minimal inventory, and homes being subjected to bidding wars among buyers, Dave's drive to help us get into our dream home was the key factor for our success. He did not sit around and wait for us to tell him what homes we wanted to see, instead he was extremely proactive, and called us the moment something hit the market that he thought we'd have interest in. He put together outbound marketing campaigns to canvas the neighborhoods we told him that we were interested in. If we couldn't view a home right away, he dropped everything, went to the home, took video of it and posted it for us so that we could get a look ASAP. Completely unlike other agents we had spoken with in the past, Dave encouraged us to pass on homes that just didn't feel right to us. Despite our frustrations in the market lacking homes for sale and wanting to jump at homes and considering settling for something that wasn't ideal for us, he kept us positive, that the right home would come, kept telling us to not settle or lower our expectations just to get into a home.
